While at CVG I managed and grew a “Arts in the Airport” program.

Working with community partners ArtsWave and the Cincinnati Music Accelerator, I was able to bring local artists inside the airport to welcome travelers with one of this region’s greatest assets - music. I built strong partnerships with both ArtsWave and CMA.

I designed the “Arts in the Airport” graphics, as well as scheduled and set up in-terminal performances. I would physically attend these to take photos and video to promote across social media channels.

The airport’s commitment to supporting local artists earned a spot in the “JetStream Music Festival” lineup, which resulted in two different virtual events in 2020. Dozens of airports across the country participated by selecting one of their local artists to represent their region. I managed CVG’s involvement in this innovative, one-of-a-kind event.

JetStream Music Festival - summer edition. CVG goes live around the 0:50 minute mark. We were thrilled to have local musician Lauren Eylise (a fan-favorite at CVG “Arts in the Airport” performer) represent us on the lineup.

JetStream ended up winning an Airports Council International Marketing/Communications award.
